Rothberg family celebrates Laticrete expansion (July 1, 2008) Pictured is Dr. Henry M. Rothberg (center), founder and chairman emeritus of Laticrete, cutting the ribbon on a new 32,000 square foot office building at the company's headquarters in Bethany, Conn. He is joined by his wife and co-founder Lillian, as well as their two sons and current co-owners David and Henry Rothberg. Industry partners and Laticrete staffers from around the globe were on hand to celebrate the $24 million expansion of the company's corporate campus. The new building features stone, ceramic, porcelain, stainless steel and glass tiles installed using the company's own products.
Bonsal honored by N.C. for helping local charities (June 24, 2008) Pictured are Bonsal executives receiving the 2008 Mayor’s International Community Award during a recent gala event in Charlotte, N.C. The award, launched in 2003 by Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory, aims to honor foreign-owned business that work to help the local community. Bonsal American is involved in several local charities, including HomeAid, a national non-profit provider of housing for the homeless. “Bonsal American thrives on the culture that believes in being a good citizen,” said David Maske, Bonsal’s president. “We feel very honored to have received this award and strive to be a good neighbor to all the communities in which we do business.”

Beaulieu staffers trained for women-friendly 'Bliss' brand (June 18, 2008) Patricia Flavin, Beaulieu's sr. vp marketing for marketing, speaks to sales staff, call center operators and other Beaulieu staffers about the company's recently launched Bliss carpet brand. Bliss by Beaulieu is residential carpet "designed by women for women," according to the company. Flavin noted that the training aimed to update staffers "on the Bliss promise and how that translates to enhanced service for dealers and their customers." More than 4,300 Bliss dislays have been shipped to dealers across the country so far, she added.
