Mannington Commercial said it is the first company to receive gold certification from NSF International for its commercial inlaid resilient flooring. The certification signifies that the company’s flooring is an Environmentally Preferable Product and meets Sustainability Assessment for Resilient Floor Covering standards.

“We’re proud to be the very first company to achieve this level of certification for our commercial inlaid resilient products and add the credibility of such a well-respected third party endorsement,” said Dave Kitts, Mannington’s vp environment. “It’s another demonstration of Mannington’s leadership in environmental improvement and its unrelenting dedication to develop better sustainable products.”

NSF International is a not-for-profit, non-governmental group that evaluates environmental performance in manufacturing, total company policies and practices, and product attributes. Several Mannington carpet products have also attained an environmentally preferable NSF rating, according to the company.
