Tarkett Residential said it will increase prices on select resilient, laminate and LVT products beginning Aug. 1. Prices are expected to rise between 2 and 7 percent.

Gary Finseth, Tarkett Residential's director of marketing, said the increases are necessary to offset increasing raw material costs. “We must adjust our pricing to reflect the raw material and energy cost increases,” he said.

Tarkett Residential is the latest manufacturer to announce price increases. In recent weeks, Armstrong, Mannington and Tarkett's commercial division have also raised prices.
