Mohawk Industries said it will raise prices on select hardwood flooring products by 3 to 5 percent. The price hike is set to take effect July 14.

“Increases in raw materials, transportation, and energy have required this action,” said Bob Leahy, senior vp of Mohawk's Hard Surfaces division.

A letter was sent out to Mohawk dealers recently announcing the planned increases, Mohawk noted.
