Mannington Mills said it will increase the price on selected hardwood products beginning Aug. 18. The move follows a similar announcement from Mohawk last week.
“Increased raw material costs, combined with record-setting high energy and transportation prices, have adversely impacted our hardwood business,” said Kim Holm, Mannington's president of residential business. “We realize that there is never a good time to pass along an increase, but we can no longer absorb these escalating costs.”
This is the latest price increase from Mannington. Last month, the company announced hikes on its laminate and resilient products to help offset raw material costs.
